Last night in the Button Factory.
Another wonderful gig.
I was concerned that the venue would lose the music but I was wrong.
Sexy, inspiring and surprising as usual.
The band was fantastic and I loved the human beat box guy.
They were as wonderful as I remember them being in Whelans and I was so happy they covered "turn me on" again.
The support were great fun too. Light Asylum bringing back the 80s. Shannon their main singer has an incredible voice.
Everyone should see Coco Rosie.

my sister is on the radio
Well college radio but still the airwaves. How cool is that.
She sounds posh but well spoken. You know kind of sexy and definately clear. Quite commanding really.

Exhibit at the Project

This is a musical exhibition I checked out over the Summer.
It took place in a smallish dark space. The music came through the speakers which were suspended on the end of ropes. Each speaker had an item on top of it like sand or bones. When the speakers jumped the sound of the sand or bones etc added to the music playing.
I walked around checking out the shadows cast by the musical scales surrounded by the sound of jumoing bones and electro. an excellent way to spend half an hour or so!
